CASSIE BAYER PHOTOGRAPHY
Cassie Bayer is a local photographer that lives in North Augusta, SC with her husband and two dogs. She has lived in the area for over 30 years. Currently, she is a volunteer and on the Board of Directors for the Arts & Heritage Center of North Augusta. She also teaches Business Math and Horticulture at Helms College in Augusta, GA. She recently open her own studio, Cassie Bayer Photography, after being an avid hobbyist for over 10 years. She enjoys photographing animals, landscapes, flowers and architecture. Animals are her favorite to photography, hence the specializing in pet photography. She also does professional headshots and photo restoration. She has shown her photographs in various venues in the North Augusta area such as the Arts & Heritage Center of North Augusta and Chamber of Commerce. She has been in the local newspaper twice as a Featured Artist as part of the North Augusta Artists Guild. She was a finalist in the 2010 & 2016 Augusta Photography Festival competition and have several awards in show sponsored by the North Augusta Artists Guild and Arts & Heritage Center of North Augusta. She is a member of the Carolina Nature Photographer’s Association and Professional Photographer’s Association (PPA) as well as a member of their Georgia and South Carolina affiliates. She also has the honor of being on the 2016, 2018, and 2020 Augusta Photography Festival planning committee.
